OUR VISION AND IDENTITY

The Integrated Pastoral Development Initiative Inc. is a Philippine based training and consultancy organization in partnership building towards development and pastoral cooperation.  We envision a country of vibrant, empowered, and sustainable villages; sharing in Faith, living the abundance of life, and solidarity, as profoundly committed nurturers of resources and of the totality of Creation.

IPDI has defined its strategic direction based on its analysis of the external and internal environments and the needs of its clientele.   As an independent training and consultancy organization, it anchored its mission on providing more relevant and more meaningful accompaniment services in partnership building between and among donor organizations, partner communities, faith-based groups and civil society organizations.  It strives to provide support community-based development and pastoral initiatives aimed at poverty eradication, restoration of the integrity of the environment and its conservation, equal access and a more egalitarian control of resources, and overcoming all forms of dehumanizing marginalization. 

To give more flesh into its mission, IPDI has defined its overall goal for the next six years (2010-2015) as:
