Preparations for 2nd MM Partners Gathering Underway

The 2nd MM partners gathering for the year, under the Learning within Networks framework is scheduled for September 11 to 15, 2011 and will be held in Bacolod, Negros Occidental. A major part of the activity would be an exposure to local faith-based organizations working with CAJDEN, the local MM partner hosting the event. Themes to be tackled in the suggested program would be lay empowerment and organizing. Experiences and learning including possible stories of change among participating partners along these themes will be surfaced and discussed. Part of the activity will also include mapping out the activities of the MM BEC Learning within Network for the remaining part of 2011 and year 2012. Expected outputs, tasking and roles of participating partners, shall also be clarified.

Among the participating partners in the network are the Social Action Commission of the Diocese of Marinduque, the Social Action Commission of the Diocese of Gumaca, the DIBICADI Vicariate Formation Secretariat of the Prelature of Infanta, the sub-vicariate neighborhood formation group of Diocese of San Carlos, CAJDEN, a faith-based organization working with the Diocese of Bacolod, IPDI, and MM.
